MOUNT VERNON, IOWA – Women's Tennis wrapped up their stay in Iowa on a high note Sunday. They took on the Buena Vista Beavers. The Eagles (2-1) cruised to a 7-0 victory against the Beavers (0-3).
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood University set the tone for the morning in doubles.
Christina Ekkela and
Sophia Perret teamed up for a 6-3 victory in top billing, before
Baylee Knott and
Kaitlyn Narkis clinched the doubles point in the second slot 6-4.

Stella Pacholke wrapped up a strong doubles showing with a 6-1 victory.
- Narkis impressed in no. 1 singles. The freshman won 6-4, 6-1. Perret followed in the second slot with a 6-2, 6-0 final.
- Ekkela and Krober kept things rolling with a 6-3, 6-0 final in the third slot and a 6-1, 6-0 result in the fourth slot respectively.
- Knott and Pacholke put a bow on the sweep in no. 5 and no. 6 singles respectively. Knott claimed a 6-2, 6-0 victory, before Pacholke finished things off with a 6-2, 6-2 score.

- The Eagles are 2-0 all-time against Buena Vista, winning both times by 7-0 margins.
