ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Edgewood College men's track & field team opened the 2025 outdoor season at the Viking Olympics hosted by Augustana College. Ayden Price picked up where he left off, winning the Long Jump and finishing second in the 200 and 400 meter.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ayden Price took home the win in the Long Jump on Saturday. The freshman leapt to a distance of 6.68 meters. His distance goes down as the fourth longest in outdoor program history. Kadin Wojcik competed in the event, posting a distance of 4.93 meters to finish in 14th place.

- Price finished second in the 200-meter dash. The freshman came across the finish line in 22.15, good for a personal-best time and second fastest in outdoor history. Wojcik came across the finish line in 26.42 in the event.

- Price added another second place finish in the 400-meter. Price posting a time of 49.74, another PR and fourth fastest in outdoor school history. Wojcik added a time of 58.65 in the event.

- Wojcik competed in the 110-meter hurdles. The senior posted a PR time of 18.79 to finish 12th in the event.

- Brett Cox led the Eagles in the 1,500-meter run. Cox came across the finish line in 4:40.75. Nick Pacubas competed in the event for the first time, finishing in 4:42.51.

- Wojcik added a distance of 33.35 meters in the Javelin Throw on Saturday. His distance put him in 17th place in the event.

-  Edgewood College will travel to UW-Platteville on Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12 to compete in the UW-Platteville Invitational.
