WHITEWATER, Wis. – The Edgewood College men's track & field team competed at the Drake Alternative Meet hosted by UW-Whitewater on Thursday. Kadin Wojcik posted a school record mark in the Discus Throw, while Ayden Price recorded two top 10 finishes.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ayden Price came across the line second in the 200-meter dash on Thursday. The freshman ran a 21.42 in the event.
- Price added a sixth-place finish in the long jump. Price recorded a mark of 6.36 meters.
- Kadin Wojcik broke the school record in the discus throw. Wojcik's mark of 29.71 meters was a personal-best mark and put him in 34th place in the event.
- Wojcik also competed in the 100-meter hurdles prelims (20.28) and high jump (1.59m).
- Brett Cox competed in the 1500-meter run for the Eagles. Cox came across the finish line in 4:36.53.
UP NEXT
- Edgewood College will compete at the NACC Outdoor Championships on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3. The two-day meet will take place from Donald J. Schneider Stadium in De Pere, Wisconsin.
