MONTGOMERY, Ill. – Baseball hit the road to kick off their final week of NACC action. They traveled down south to square off with the Aurora Spartans. The Spartans (21-17, 16-8 NACC) earned a sweep with 12-1 and 17-4 victories over the Eagles (18-18, 12-10).
GAME ONE: AURORA 12, EDGEWOOD COLLEGE 1 (SEVEN INNINGS)
- The Spartans kicked things off with a four-run first, including a pair of RBI singles and RBI doubles.
Carson Richter singled through the right side to plate a run in the second.
- Aurora built up their lead steadily. A two-run home run in the third, a RBI single in the fifth, and a RBI double in the sixth pushed them ahead 8-1. A grand slam in the seventh clinched a run-rule victory for the hosts.

Kyle Prindle hit 2-for-3 with a run and a double.
- Faust swung 3-for-4 with four RBIs and a home run. Riley recorded five RBIs, including a double and a home run.
GAME TWO: AURORA 17, EDGEWOOD COLLEGE 4 (SEVEN INNINGS)
- After
Brevin Brisack plated a pair of runs with a double to left field, the Spartans hit three home runs in the bottom of the first to earn a 6-2 advantage after two. They would plate two runs in the second and two in the third, including a two-run home run in the third.
- Aurora kicked off a seven-run fourth by doubling in a run before loading the bases with no outs. Six more runs would follow as the Spartans pushed game two to run rule range, including a pair of two-RBI doubles.
- Brisack wrapped up the scoring with a two-run single through the left side in the seventh.
- Lukancic hit 3-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs. He recorded a double and a home run. Four Spartans hit home runs in the affair.
- Brisack went 2-for-2 with four RBIs and a double.

Mark Tor recorded his 19th appearance in game two against Aurora, setting a new single-season program record. The previous mark of 18 was held by Garrett Redner (2022) and AJ Verhage (2015).
UP NEXT
Edgewood College will wrap up regular season NACC action in De Pere, Wis. Friday. They'll take on the St. Norbert Green Knights in a doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
