STEVENS POINT, Wis. – Women's Tennis concluded their regular season slate Sunday on the road. They traveled to take on the UW-Stevens Point Pointers. The Pointers (14-11) earned a 6-1 final against the Eagles (15-9).
HOW IT HAPPENED
- UW-Stevens Point got the ball rolling in doubles. They knocked down

Marissa Light 6-2 in the first slot, before defeating
Sarah Emory/
Christina Ekkela 6-4 in no. 3 doubles.

Hattie Plenty/
Madelyn Connaughty teamed up for a victory in the second doubles slot, winning 6-3.
- Taylor fell 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) in top singles, while Light conceded a 6-2, 7-6 (9-7) final.
- Plenty mounted an impressive comeback for a victory in no. 3 singles. She earned a 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-8) victory.
- Ekkela and Emory fell just short in hard fought affairs. Ekkela lost 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 (10-7) in the fourth slot, before Emory was defeated 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8).
UP NEXT
Edgewood College will host a NACC Tournament Semifinal at Quann Park Thursday. Their opponent is yet to be determined. First serve is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
