VERONA, Wis – Baseball wrapped up their home regular season slate at Stampfl Field Saturday. They took on the Dominican Stars in a NACC doubleheader on Legacy Exteriors Senior & Alumni Day. The Eagles (18-16, 12-8 NACC) took care of business, sweeping the Stars (15-20, 6-14) with 12-0 and 6-2 victories.
GAME ONE: EDGEWOOD COLLEGE 12, DOMINICAN 0 (SEVEN INNINGS)
- A parade of singles fueled an eight-run first as the Eagles soared and never looked back.
Kyle Prindle,
Brevin Brisack,
Daniel Bentivegna,
Dominic Lee, and
Carson Richter all hit RBI singles, before a three-run home run from
Aidan Kammer to right field put the exclamation point on a strong start.
- Kammer tacked on another RBI in the second with a sacrifice grounder. A Brisack walk and a two-RBI double down the right field line from Bentivegna in the fifth pushed Edgewood College to a run rule victory.

Ryan Mixey shined on Senior Day. He struck out eight in the complete game shutout, allowing only four hits.
GAME TWO: EDGEWOOD COLLEGE 6, DOMINICAN 2

Terry Tolliver Jr. started off game two with a lead off solo home run to right center in the first inning. The Eagles would tack on another in the second and nursed a 2-0 lead as the defense shut down the Stars.
- While Dominican would get on the board in the sixth with a single, a Prindle double and another mistake from the Stars in the bottom of the sixth propelled Edgewood College ahead 4-1.
- A sacrifice fly from Brisack anchored a two-run eighth for the Eagles as they tacked on insurance runs. While Dominican singled in a run down the left field line in the ninth, Edgewood College closed the book on a Senior Day sweep with no further damage.

Aidan Williams struck out five as the senior earned the victory. Aidan Shumaker and
Mark Tor formed an effective bullpen tandem in the win.

Hayden Hellenbrand stole a pair of bases.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Tor's appearance in game two marked his 18th of the season. He moved into a tie for the most appearances in a single season, last reached by Garrett Redner (2022).
- The doubleheader celebrated the careers and accomplishments of the Eagles seniors.
UP NEXT
Edgewood College returns to the road for the final week of NACC action. They'll travel to Montgomery, Ill. for a doubleheader against the Aurora Spartans Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for noon in the NACC showdown.
