VERONA, Wis. – Baseball returned to a picture-perfect Stampfl Field for NACC action Wednesday night. They squared off with the Lakeland Muskies for a Residents Hall Night doubleheader. The Eagles (16-16, 10-8 NACC) got back on track, making short work of the Muskies (10-25, 4-16) with 11-0 and 10-4 victories.
GAME ONE: EDGEWOOD COLLEGE 11, LAKELAND 0 (SEVEN INNINGS)
- A six-run second had the Eagles rolling early in game one.

Aidan Kammer all singled in runs to kick off the rally. A
Terry Tolliver Jr. sacrifice fly tack on another before
Hayden Hellenbrand finished the inning with a bang with a two-run homer to left center.

Jacob Carney got the ball rolling on a strong day for himself with a two-run double to left field in the fourth. Edgewood College pushed the game into run rule territory in the fifth. A Richter RBI double down the left field line, a Kammer sacrifice fly to center, and a Tolliver Jr. double down the right field line each plated a run.
- Aidan Shumaker pitched a three-hit shutout in the victory. He fanned eight Muskies as the Eagles claimed victory.
- Six Edgewood College batters had a multi-hit game one and five had multiple RBIs.
GAME TWO: EDGEWOOD COLLEGE 10, LAKELAND 4
- Tolliver Jr. kept the good times rolling in game two. In the Eagles' first at-bat of the game, he sent a solo shot over the right field fence for a run.
Brevin Brisack plated a pair with a single to center field for a 3-0 lead.
- After the Muskies got on board with a single to center field in the top of the second,
Jacob Carney doubled to right to maintain the three-run edge. A
Dominic Lee home run to left in the third had Edgewood College soaring 5-1.
- A solo home run from Lakeland pushed them within three, but a
Daniel Bentivegna RBI and a Richter single plating a run each had them up 7-2 after five.
- While the Muskies would tack on a run in the sixth and eighth, a
Kyle Prindle double to center in the sixth and a two-RBI single to center from Brisack in the eighth helped keep the sweep well in hand for the Eagles.

Drew Lenz earned the victory, allowing one earned run in five innings of work.
Kris Hahn stepped up in relief, striking out four and allowing one earned run in four innings of work for the save.
- Carney hit 4-for-4 with four runs, four stolen bases, and an RBI. Brisack recorded four RBIs in the victory.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Shumaker's complete game shutout in game one was only the second of the year for Edgewood College.
- The Eagles are now 40-40 all-time against Lakeland. They have won nine-straight against their conference foe.
- Carney's four steals in game two is tied for second-most in a single game for Edgewood College.

The Eagles will host their regular season home finale Saturday at Stampfl Field. They'll take on the Dominican Stars for a Legacy Exteriors Senior & Alumni Day NACC doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
