NEENAH, WIS. – Men's Tennis returned to action Sunday with a pair of nonconference matches. They faced off with the UW-Stevens Point Pointers and the Lawrence Vikings. The Eagles (3-6) dropped a 7-0 final to the Pointers (8-8) and a 5-2 tally to the Vikings (6-4).
MATCH ONE: UW-STEVENS POINT 7, EDGEWOOD COLLEGE 0
- The Pointers claimed the doubles point with a 6-3 victory over
Justin Hutchcroft/
Andrew Hoffmann in top doubles and a 6-2 final against
Jon Olafsson/
Marek Woytasik in second billing.

Taite Thomas were defeated 6-1 in the third slot
- UW-Stevens Point continued to roll in singles. Olafsson fell to a 6-1, 6-2 decision in no. 1 singles. Hutchcroft conceded a 6-3, 6-2 tally in the second slot, while Woytasik was defeated 6-0, 6-0.
- Hoffmann lost a 6-2, 6-0 match in the third slot. The Pointers took down Faley 6-1, 6-3 in the sixth slot. Thomas dropped a 6-1, 6-1 final in no. 5 singles.
MATCH TWO: LAWRENCE 5, EDGEWOOD COLLEGE 2
- A 6-4 victory over Hutchcroft/Hoffman in top billing and a 7-5 final against Olafsson/Woytasik in the second slot clinched the doubles point for the Vikings.
- Faley/Thomas shined in the third slot with a 6-2 victory.
- After Olafsson lost 6-2, 6-0 in no. 1 singles, Hutchcroft got the Eagles on the board with a 4-6, 7-5, 10-1 rally in the second slot.
- Hoffmann conceded a 6-3, 6-2 finish in third singles. Woytasik shined in the fourth slot, bouncing back for a 2-6, 6-4, 10-8 victory.
- Thomas hung tough in the fifth slot, but Lawrence earned a 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) win. Faley dropped a 6-0, 6-3 bout in sixth singles.

Men's Tennis will take a couple of weeks off before heading south to Orlando, Fla. for Spring Break action. They'll kick things off with Western Connecticut State on Monday, March 17. First serve is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. Eastern.
