KENOSHA, Wis. – The Edgewood College men's track & field team left the 2025 NACC Indoor Championships with six top-10 finishes, seven PR performances, and a school record. Ayden Price impressed, recording an Eagles school record in the 60-meter dash. Kadin Wojcik was the first in Edgewood College history to compete in the Heptathlon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- On Friday, Ayden Price set the standard for Edgewood College men's track & field sprints with a school record time of 7.04 in the 60-meter dash prelims. Price's time was sixth best and qualified him for the event final. Yitzak Tristan (8.22) and Miguel Meza (8.48) also competed in the prelims. Price finished eighth in the final on Saturday, running a time of 7.29.
- Price added a fourth place finish in the 400-meter dash on Saturday. The freshman ran a PR time of 50.85, which goes down as third fastest in school history.
- Price impressed in the long jump for Edgewood College. He added another fourth place finish with a jump of 6.72 meters.
- Price led a trio of Eagles in the 200-meter dash. His time of 22.93 was good for seventh place and third fastest in school history. Tristan (26.35) and Meza (28.15) recorded personal-best finishes in the event.
- Nick Pacubas ran a PR time of 2:12.06 in the 800-meter run on Saturday.
- Brett Cox represented the Eagles in the 5000-meter run. Cox finished the event in 18th place with a time of 18:30.44.
- Kadin Wojcik competed in the Heptathlon for the first time as an Eagle. On Friday, Wojcik competed in the 60-meter dash (7.92), high jump (1.58m), long jump (5.40m), and shot put (8.96m). Wojcik's 60-meter dash time was a career-best for the senior. After one day of competition, Wojcik sat in 10th place with a points total of 1916. The senior moved up the leaderboard on day two, competing in the 1000-meter run (3:08.25), 60-meter hurdles (10.37), and pole vault (2.50m). After seven events, Wojcik finished in eighth place with a grand total of 3217 points.
- Wojcik, Tristan, Pacubas, and Cox competed in the 4x400-meter relay to close out the Indoor Championships on Saturday. The Eagles finished eighth with a time of 3:54.15.
