RIPON, Wis. – The Edgewood College men's track & field team competed at the Red Hawk Invite hosted by Ripon College. Ayden Price continued to excel in sprint events, while Brett Cox posted a top five finish in the 5,000-meter run.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Price opened the meet with a 7.19 finish in the 60-meter prelims on Saturday. The freshman posting the fourth fastest time in school history.
- Cox placed third in the 5,000-meter run at Ripon. He crossed the finish line in 17:35.13.
- Price also competed in the 200 meter, crossing the finish line in 23.70 to place sixth on the Eagles honor roll in the event. Kadin Wojcik ran a 27.31 in the event.
- Nick Pacubas competed in the 400 meter for the first time as an Eagle. He finished in a time of 57.31.
- Wojcik represented the Eagles in the 800-meter. The senior finished 27th in the event with a time of 2:23.20. Wojcik rounded out his meet tying his best time in the 60-meter hurdles, a 10.60.

- Edgewood College will return to Ripon on Saturday to compete in the Dick Hendricks' Invite. Action is set for 11:00 a.m. from Ripon, Wis.
