DE PERE, WIS. – Men's Basketball headed north for more NACC action Saturday. They faced off with the St. Norbert Green Knights. The Green Knights (16-6, 12-3 NACC) pulled away from the Eagles (4-18, 3-12) on a 16-2 run and never looked back in a 66-51 victory.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood College attacked the paint in the first three minutes of action as they built up a 6-5 advantage at 16:43 with a trio of layups. The Eagles would go scoreless from the field for 13:19 of play and St. Norbert took full advantage.
 
- A trio of threes kicked off a 16-2 run that concluded with the Green Knights holding a 21-8 lead at 6:01. The St. Norbert defense continued to stifle Edgewood College, holding them to four points as they went to the locker room up 28-12.
 
- The Green Knights built up a 40-19 advantage at 14:17 in the second half. They would lead by as much as 23 down the stretch as they claimed a decisive victory.
 
- Edgewood College shot 14.8 (4-of-27) percent from beyond the arc.
 
- Drew Houtakker tallied 19 points and nine rebounds, both team highs.
 
- Trent Tousana earned seven points, six rebounds, and three steals.
 
- Cole Uhlenbrauck paced all scorers with 16 points.
 
- Jamison Nickolai earned a 12-point, 11-rebound double-double.

The Eagles will travel again Wednesday as conference play continues. They'll travel to Fond Du Lac, Wis. to take on the Marian Sabres. Tip-off is scheduled 7:45 p.m.
