DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Edgewood College men's track & field team competed at the Spartan Shootout hosted by the University of Dubuque on Saturday. Ayden Price paced the Eagles with two top-10 finishes.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Reigning NACC men's field student-athlete of the week posted a second place finish in the Long Jump on Saturday. His best jump of 6.83 meters earned his second place finish and goes down as the second longest jump in program history. Kadin Wojcik also competed in the event, recording a distance of 4.67 meters.
- Price competed in the 60-meter prelims, recording a time of 7.24 which is tied for fifth fastest in program history. Wojcik came across the finish line in 8.11.
- Price was first in a trio of Eagles in the 400 meter. Price finished fourth with the sixth fastest time in program history. The freshman's time of 51.68 moved him into third place on the Eagles honor roll list. Yitzak Tristan competed in the event for the first time, finishing in 58.46. Wojcik finished the event in 59.77.
- Nick Pacubas competed in the 800 meter. The freshman clocked in at 2:17.77 in his first time competing in the event.
- Brett Cox finished 16th in the 3,000 meter run on Saturday. Cox finished the event in 10:14.71.

- Edgewood College will compete at the Red Hawk Invite hosted by Ripon College on Saturday, February 8. Action from Ripon, Wis. is set to begin at 11:00 a.m.
