Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Efficient Pios too much for Eagles

WAUKESHA, WIS. – Men's Basketball wrapped up 2025 on the road Tuesday. They took on the Carroll Pios in a nonconference tilt. An efficient shooting outing from the Pios (6-5) propelled them to a 95-68 victory over the Eagles (1-9).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Carroll built up a commanding 20-6 lead with 14:01 left in the first half as they attacked every part of the floor. A 10-2 run would pull Edgewood University within 29-20 with 7:51 remaining, but the Pios replied in kind with a 10-2 stretch in the last 4:16 of play to head to the locker room up 51-33.

- Carroll kept the pressure on in the second half, continually building up their double-digit lead as the Eagles struggled to find answers. A 10-3 rally that lasted 2:05 pushed the Pios ahead 76-49 with 11:23 left. Edgewood University would be kept at arm's length throughout as Carroll defended their home court.

- The Pios shot 60.3 (38-of-63) percent from the floor and 41.7 (10-of-24) from the three-point line.

- Four scored in double-digits for Carroll. Lamar Smith posted 23 points and nine rebounds, both game highs, and shot 8-of-9 from the floor.
