COLFAX, Wis. – The Edgewood University cross country team competed at the NCAA Division III North Regional on Saturday. The Eagles saw career-best performances from Tyler Mueller and Ellie Lill. The regional meet was held at Whitetail Golf Course, hosted by UW-Eau Claire.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Mueller paced the Eagle men's cross country team, running the 8K course in a personal-best time of 26:31.2. Mueller's time was good for an 80th place finish.
- Nick Pacubas posted a time of 33:33.9 in the men's race.
- Ellie Lill ran a PR time of 34:15.2 to represent the Edgewood University women's cross country program.
THE RACE
- UW-La Crosse claimed team titles on both the men's and women's sides. The women's team finished with a score of 45 to win the meet. On the men's side, UW-La Crosse scored 30 points to claim victory.
