Eagles notch seventh straight victory against St. Norbert

VERONA, Wis. – The Edgewood University men's soccer continued their perfect NACC slate against St. Norbert College on Wednesday. The Eagles claimed a 2-1 victory over the Green Knights from Edgewood University Field at Reddan Park. Liam Moreira and Connor Gage highlighted the Eagles attack on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Edgewood University (8-1-2, 6-0-0 NACC) attack was dominant on Wednesday night, taking a whopping 40 shots and putting 17 on net. Liam Moreira netted the Eagles first goal of the evening in the 13th minute.

- Despite taking 19 shots in the first 45 minutes, the Eagles went into halftime with just a 1-0 advantage.

- Connor Gage scored the first goal of the second half in the 63rd minute. Gage's third goal of the season assisted by Gabe Voung and Anthony Campos.

- St. Norbert College (7-6-0, 5-2-0 NACC) did catch the Eagles on the back foot in the final 20 minutes, as Hayden Dunn scored the Green Knights only goal.

- Maverick Van Laanen recorded two saves in net for the Eagles. His counterpart Jackson Kiszka recorded 14 saves for the Green Knights.

- Gage led the Eagles with eight shots on the night, five on target. Moreira added six shots of his own.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The Eagles remain a perfect 6-0-0 in conference play. The Eagles undefeated record in NACC play is their best during their time in the conference. In 2000, the Eagles opened their LMC season with a 6-0-0 record.

- Edgewood University hasn't lost a game since Wednesday, September 3. Since then, the Eagles own seven wins and one draw to their name.
