Offense comes alive in victory at Concordia Chicago

RIVER FOREST, Ill. – The Edgewood University men's soccer team continued to display their high-powered offense on Wednesday afternoon at Concordia Chicago. The Eagles earned their 11th straight win via a 9-0 final over the Cougars. Seven different Eagles scored to help the Eagles remain undefeated in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood University (12-1-2, 10-0-0 NACC) got things going early on Wednesday, as Connor Gage netted his seventh goal of the season with just three minutes into the contest.

- Riley Kann was the next Eagle to score on Wednesday, finding the back of the net in the 21st minute, assisted by Jack Knight.

- Gabe Voung scored goals three and four for the Eagles. Voung's two goals came within five minutes. Gage assisted Voung on his first goal, while Anthony Campos and Liam Moreira assisted Voung's second goal in the 26th minute.

- Campos found the back of the net himself in the 30th minute to give the Eagles a 5-0 advantage at halftime. Voung & Beckham Murrow assisted Campos on the Eagles fifth goal on Wednesday.

- Three different Eagles scored in the second half, with Brooks Luttinen scoring in the 62nd minute.

- Connor Thompson scored twice in the second half, his first goal coming in the 82nd minute. Thompson netted the Eagles ninth and final goal in the 88th minute. Harrison Kinney scored his first goal as an Eagle in the 86th minute.

- Conor Bruce, Stephen Kaster, Stefan Soldat, and Jameson Carl each assisted on a goal in the second half on Wednesday.

- Griffin Meisterheim earned the start in net for the Eagles. Jackson Gill appeared in the second half, collecting one save.

- The Eagles outshot Concordia Chicago (1-13-2, 0-9-1 NACC) 33-2 on Wednesday. The Eagles only allowed one shot on goal through the 90 minutes.
