ROCKFORD, ILL. – Women's Soccer looked to keep momentum rolling in NACC action Friday. They headed south to face off with the Rockford Regents. The Eagles (11-4-1, 7-2-0 NACC) found no issues dispatching the Regents (1-14-0, 0-9-0) in 7-0 fashion.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood University poured it on early. Goals from
Kayla Kerkman at 4:50 and
Lina Diaz at 5:48 pushed the Eagles up 2-0 early.
Lacey Fabry wrapped up the first half scoring in impressive fashion with two goals at 27:03 and 28:16 to send the visitors to the locker room up 4-0.
- The Edgewood University defense locked down Rockford, allowing no shots the entire 90 minutes.
Savanna Buttram added on the fifth goal at 73:12, before
Audrey Kessenich tacked on another at 80:15.
Addie Ninneman wrapped up the scoring at 86:15 with an assist from Fabry.

Emma Swenson earned the victory in goal, recording 90 scoreless minutes.
- Fabry and Kessenich each tallied three shots on goal. Greta Balu totaled eight shots, while
Kamy Luecke had five of her own.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Fabry's two goals and five points were both individual game bests.
- Diaz's goal was her first as an Eagle.

Edgewood University will take the weekend off before opening a three-match homestand to conclude the regular season. They'll take on Concordia Chicago at Edgewood University Field at Reddan Park Wednesday. First kick is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
