DE PERE, WIS. – Women's Tennis wrapped up their fall slate Sunday up north. They faced off with the St. Norbert Green Knights in a rematch of last year's NACC Tournament Final. The Green Knights (7-2, 7-1 NACC) earned the victory in a 4-3 thriller against the Eagles (9-3, 6-2).
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood University started off strong in doubles.
Sophia Perret and
Lauryn Krober won 6-2 in the second slot, before
Christina Ekkela and
Kaitlyn Narkis claimed a 6-4 final in the third slot.

Evelyn Taylor and
Hattie Plenty conceded a 7-5 heartbreaker in the first slot.
- Taylor rallied in no. 1 singles with a 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 victory. Plenty fell short in second singles 7-6 (10-8), 6-3.
- After the Green Knights pulled even with a 7-5, 6-2 victory over Perret in no. 3 singles, Narkis pushed the Eagles to match point with a 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 comeback in the fourth slot.
- Ekkela conceded a 6-1, 6-4 result in fifth billing, while
Baylee Knott was defeated 2-6, 6-3, 6-0 in the sixth slot.
UP NEXT
Edgewood University will return to the courts in the 2026 season. They will take on a slate of non-conference foes before hosting a NACC Tournament First Round match against Wisconsin Lutheran on Monday, April 27.
