MADISON, Wis. – The Edgewood College women's basketball team fell to Aurora University in conference action on Wednesday evening. The Eagles early three-point shooting wasn't enough to take down the Spartans balanced attack.

- The Eagles and Spartans traded the lead through the second quarter, and a three point make from Jennifer Heinberg of Aurora was all the Spartans needed to break through and take a confident seven-point (37-30) lead at halftime. The Spartans shot 45 percent (9-of-20) from the floor in the second quarter, compared to just 16.67 percent (2-of-12) for the Eagles.
