RIVER FOREST, ILL. – The men's tennis squad entered their regular season finale with a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) showdown. They faced off with the Concordia Chicago Cougars in a conference battle. The Eagles (3-14, 2-5 NACC) emerged victorious in a 5-4 victory against the Cougars (1-8, 1-5).
HOW IT HAPPENED

Jon Olafsson and
Marek Woytasik kicked things off on the right foot with an 8-4 victory in second doubles.
Caden Nelson and
Andrew Hoffmann gave Edgewood College a 2-0 lead with an 8-6 win in top billing.

Alton Robinson and
William Faley were defeated 8-4 to send the two teams into doubles with the Eagles leading 2-1.
- Hoffmann continued to shine in singles, a 6-1, 6-2 victory in no. 3 action starting solo play with an Edgewood College victory. Woytasik added on a 6-1, 6-2 tally in fourth singles for a 4-1 advantage.
- Olafsson clinched the victory with a 6-2, 6-2 final in no. 2 singles.
- Nelson battled hard in top billing. He dropped a 7-5, 7-6 (7-3) final. Robinson fell by a 6-1, 6-3 margin in fifth singles.

Ethan Towne wrapped up the day with a 6-3, 7-5 loss in sixth singles.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The Eagles are 10-1 against Concordia Chicago all-time and have won 10 straight in the series.
