MILWAUKEE, Wis.Grace Pustina tossed a complete game shutout in game two and Tatum Duff went the distance in game one as the Edgewood College softball team earned a NACC sweep over Alverno College on Monday. EDGEWOOD COLLEGE 14, ALVERNO COLLEGE 3 – 5 INNINGS (GAME ONE)
- Duff earned her fifth win of the season, striking out four batters. It was her fifth complete game of the season.

- Edgewood College (16-12, 7-5 NACC) opened the game with a two run first inning, courtesy of a two RBI Gracie Halfman single to center field. Alverno College (3-19, 1-15 NACC) responded with a two-run bottom half of the inning to tie the game.

- In the bottom of the third frame, the Inferno took a 3-2 lead via a home run. The Eagles quickly bounced back, scoring eight runs in the top of the fourth frame and taking a 10-3 lead. A pair of doubles from Natalie Fields and Olivia Hebert scored two runs to take the lead back from the Inferno. Grace Ott tacked on a two RBI single to make the score 6-3, before a three run home run from Alyse Maurer put the game a 9-3. Jenna Sanchez would come across to score the Eagles tenth run because of an Alverno fielding error.

- Eight doubles in the opener goes down as the most in a single game in program history.

- Fields improved both her hitting streak (11) and reached base streak (14) in the sweep.
