LEESBURG, FLA. – The Edgewood College Eagles softball squad kicked off The Spring Games Friday down in Florida. They faced off with the Carthage Firebirds before battling with the Westminster (PA) Titans. The Eagles (4-4) had a good day, a strong pitching outing and solid hitting taking down the Firebirds (6-5) in 5-0 fashion, before they hit and stole bases in roughly equal measure in a 10-2 victory against the Titans (4-5).
