MADISON – Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play kicked off for the Edgewood College Eagles men's tennis squad Saturday. They hosted the defending conference tournament champions in the MSOE Raiders. The Raiders (5-5, 1-0 NACC) had an impressive day, winning 9-0 against the Eagles (1-9, 0-1).
HOW IT HAPPENED

Jon Olafsson and
Marek Woytasik took the lone point in doubles for Edgewood College, losing an 8-1 tilt in top billing. The tandems of
Andrew Hoffmann/
Ethan Towne and
Alton Robinson/
William Faley lost by identical 8-0 finals.
- Hoffmann competed in third billing, losing by 6-4, 6-3 in solo play.
- Olafsson fell 6-0, 6-3 in the top slot while Woytasik dropped a 6-1, 6-1 final as the no. 2 player.
- Robinson would lose by a 6-0, 6-1 tally in solo play. Towne and Faley concluded the afternoon with 6-0, 6-0 losses in fifth and sixth singles respectively.
UP NEXT
The Eagles will head north as NACC action continues tomorrow. They will face off with the St. Norbert Green Knights in De Pere, Wis. First serve is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
