JACKSON, MISS. – The Edgewood College Eagles and the Millsaps Majors entered the rubber match of a three-game series Sunday tied at a game apiece. HOW IT HAPPENED

- Edgewood College would not go quietly into the night.

-
Brevin Brisack tallied the first RBIs of the day for the Eagles in the eighth, a two-run single down the left side cutting the lead to four, before Brisack took advantage of a wild pitch to come home.
- With stellar relief pitching holding Millsaps scoreless late, Edgewood College entered the ninth still down three.
Kyle Prindle singled in a run through the left side to cut the lead to just two runs, though the Eagles' lost a base runner attempting to steal third. A pop out would end the threat and clinch a series victory for the hosts.
