Eagles Men's Lacrosse Preview

The fourth season in men's lacrosse history kicks off Saturday. They will host the Calvin Knights in their opener at Edgewood College Field at Reddan Park. The Eagles continued their upwards trajectory under head coach Garrett Wolhford in their 2023 season, setting new bests with a 6-10, 3-5 NACC finish.

“Looking at my expectations for this year, I am feeling confident that we can take another step forward,” said head coach Garrett Wohlford.

2024 Men's Lacrosse Schedule

The Eagles will open things at Edgewood College Field against Calvin this Saturday. Their schedule features a two-game road trip in North Carolina against Greensboro and Methodist. They will open NACC play by hosting Concordia Chicago on March 30,  They will battle with NACC runner-up Illinois Tech on April 13, before wrapping up their regular season with a showdown against defending champion Aurora on April 27.

“We decided to challenge ourselves with some very talented teams, so I am looking forward to seeing how our guys match up and how those games help us going forward later in the season.”

16.13 - Luke Quakenbush was effective as the primary goalkeeper last season, finishing second in the NACC in saves per game.

53 - Lake Rewey had an immediate impact as a freshman, his 53 points (34 goals, 19 points) a team high.

2 - The Eagles will leave the midwest for a pair of games in North Carolina March 12 and March 14.

8- Eight freshman join the ranks for Edgewood College this season, complimenting an experienced core of players

2nd - Avery Bugaj earned Second Team All-NACC for the 2023 season, the first Second Team All-NACC accolade in program history
