WAUWATOSA, Wis. - The Edgewood College men's soccer team and Wisconsin Lutheran College battled to a scoreless tie Saturday afternoon. It was the first conference tie of the season for the Eagles. Edgewood College held the advantage in shots on the afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood College (9-1-2, 4-0-1 NACC) led the shots column 16-3 after a 90-minute battle on Saturday. The Eagles managed to put seven shots on goal, compared to just one from Wisconsin Lutheran College (7-2-2, 3-0-2 NACC).
- Puma Galvan made four saves in the first 22 minutes to keep the Eagles off the scoreboard. The Warriors defense turned it on after the opening 25 minutes, limiting Edgewood College to just three shots on goal through the rest of the contest.
- Miguel Konde Gwo led the Eagles with six shots, three on goal. Cristian Torres-Gale added four shots, one on net.
- Titus Kostrzewa took the Warriors only shot on goal of the afternoon.
- Maverick Van Laanen made one save in net for the Eagles.

- Edgewood College will return home for a three-game homestand. The Eagles will host Aurora University on Wednesday, October 9. Action is set for 7:00 p.m. from Edgewood College Field at Reddan Park.
