RIVER FOREST, Ill. – The Edgewood College women's soccer fell to Dominican University 4-0 on Wednesday. The Stars scored in both the first and second half, handing the Eagles their fifth conference loss.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sarah Borsellino put Dominican (7-5-2, 6-1-1 NACC) on the board in the 23rd minute, burying a penalty kick goal.
- The Stars took a 2-0 lead into halftime following a goal from Regan Coxon, assisted by Ava Mascoe-Talbott in the 39th minute.
- Emma Miller took the only shot of the day for Edgewood College (8-5-2, 2-5-1 NACC) in the first half.
- Katie Norlie and Ariana Barney scored in the second half for the Stars.
- The Stars outshot the Eagles 15-1 on the afternoon.
- Hailey Corcoran managed seven saves in net for Edgewood College. Meadow Pratt and Sarah Grimmett split time in goal for Dominican.
