CHICAGO, ILL. – The Edgewood College Eagles hit the road for more Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) action. They faced off with the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks. The Eagles (10-1, 7-0 NACC) got back in flight with a 6-1 victory over the Scarlet Hawks (3-6, 3-4).
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood College rolled through singles.
Hattie Plenty and
Madelyn Connaughty took a 6-2 victory in no. 2 doubles, before
Christina Ekkela and
Cassie Henderson clinched the doubles point with an identical 6-2 margin.

Evelyn Taylor won 6-4 in top doubles billing.

Hattie Plenty kicked off singles with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep in no. 6 singles.
Cassie Henderson claimed the second singles point with a 6-1, 6-0 victory in no. 3 singles.

Christina Ekkela clinched the match for the Eagles with a 6-4, 6-2 victory in no. 5 singles.
- Light rallied to win a 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 final in no. 2 singles.
- Connaughty dropped a marathon 2-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-8) match in fourth singles.
- Taylor wrapped up the night with a 6-3,1-6, 6-2 victory in top billing.
