RIVER FOREST, Ill.Vivian Guerrero wrote her name in the history books Wednesday night at Dominican University. Guerrero recorded the third triple-double in Edgewood College women's basketball history, leading the Eagles to an 87-39 win over Dominican University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In what proved to be a fantastic team victory for Edgewood College (9-9, 8-1 NACC), Guerrero solidified her triple-double in the final minutes of the fourth quarter. She pulled down four rebounds in the final minutes, which pushed her over the mark to make history.

- Guerrero finished the game with 10 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists, while adding three blocks for good measure.

- The Eagles raced out to an early lead on Wednesday night, starting the game with a 7-4 advantage. Four points was all the Eagles would allow in the first quarter, as they would score 16 unanswered points to end the quarter with a 19 point (23-4) lead.

- Dominican (1-17, 0-9 NACC) couldn't slow the Eagles, as Edgewood College went on to score 25 points in both the second and third quarters. The Eagles shot a game-high 66.67 percent (10-for-15) in the third quarter.

- It was a team effort for the Eagles on Wednesday, as all 11 players scored a point and pulled down a rebound.

- Edgewood College dished out a program record 32 assists on Wednesday night. 10 different players recorded an assist for the Eagles.

- The Eagles pulled down the second most rebounds in a single game in program history. Edgewood College recorded 23 offensive rebounds, and 45 defensive rebounds on Wednesday. This mark falls second to the 78 rebounds recorded against MSOE on January 18, 1994.

- Kallie Norby continued to be a force for the Eagles, scoring 21 points and pulling down nine rebounds. Norby added three assists and two blocks.

- Jayden Nortier collected 12 points and pulled down eight rebounds.

THE OPPOSITION

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Guerrero's triple double is the second Eagles women's basketball player to record a triple-double. Bria Lemirande was the first, recording two triple-doubles in the same week. Lemirande's first triple-double came on January 30, 2020 against Lakeland.

- Charlie Averkamp, Bria Lemirande, and Vivian Guerrero are the three Eagles basketball players to record a triple-double.

- It was a familiar foe for an Edgewood College triple-double. Lemirande's second triple-double came against the Stars back in 2020, while Averkamp's came against Dominican in 2007.

UP NEXT
