MEQUON, Wis. – The Edgewood College Eagles men's basketball squad continued Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference (NACC) play Saturday afternoon. They faced down the Concordia Wisconsin Falcons in a road tilt. The Falcons (7-10, 7-5 NACC) pulled away with a dominant second half, winning 75-56 over the Eagles (8-10, 7-5).
HOW IT HAPPENED
-A 7-0 sprint after leading 11-8 placed Concordia Wisconsin in strong 18-8 position with 9:59 left in the frame. Edgewood College rallied over the next seven minutes, flipping the script with a 19-5 rally to take a 27-23 lead with 2:41 left. A late three would send the Falcons into the lockers up 30-29.
- The second half was all Concordia Wisconsin. They hit the jets with a 28-6 burst in the first ten minutes of the frame for a 58-35 gap. The Falcons would hold serve for the rest of the afternoon on route to a decisive victory.
- Concordia Wisconsin outshot Edgewood College 57.58 (19-of-33) to 34.78 (8-of-23) percent in the second half.

Cade Ellingson led all Eagles with 10 points, while
Dawson Hughes grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
- Sam Meerstein recorded 15 points and four steals.
- Gabe Pruss tallied the lone double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
- The Falcons dominated in the paint with a 48-to-22 advantage and converted well off of turnovers with 21 points.
UP NEXT
The Eagles will look to bounce back Wednesday night at the Todd Wehr Edgedome. They host the Dominican Stars for MAISL Night with tipoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Edgewood College won against the Stars 83-80 late last year.
