LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Edgewood College men's soccer team dropped a NACC road tilt at Rockford University on Wednesday afternoon. The Eagles struggled to find the back of the net against the Regents, resulting in a 1-0 final.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was a quiet first half for both the Eagles and Regents. Between both teams only nine shots were taken in the first 45 minutes of action.

- It didn't take Rockford University (4-4-0, 3-0-0 NACC) long after halftime to find the back of the net. With 51:47 on the clock in the second half Baruani Kamangila scored, assisted by Francesco Stoner.

- Edgewood College (5-3-1, 1-2-0 NACC) came out looking for the back of the net in the second half, taking 11 shots, five on goal. Despite many opportunities, the goalkeeping and Regents defense held the Eagles scoreless.

- The Eagles outshot the Regents 15-7. 10 different Eagles recorded a shot in the conference match, including three from Miguel Konde Gwo.

- Maverick Van Laanen was responsible for all 90 minutes in goal for the Eagles. The newcomer recorded two saves. Andrik Vidaurri recorded six saves for the Regents.
