MADISON, Wis. – The Edgewood College Eagles women's tennis squad continued their trek through their Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) slate Tuesday afternoon. They hosted the MSOE Raiders at TPC Wisconsin. The Eagles (5-3, 5-1 NACC) claimed a 9-0 victory over the Raiders (4-5, 3-1 NACC).
HOW IT HAPPENED

Cecile Fuchs and
Evelyn Taylor kicked things off in perfect fashion with an 8-0 victory in top doubles billing.
Jewel Lindwall and
Maddy Coopmans followed with an impressive 8-1 win, while
Ellie Murphy and
Madelyn Connaughty sent Edgewood College into singles perfect with an 8-3 win.
- Fuchs continued her strong play with a 6-0, 6-0 final, while Lindwall clinched the match in 6-2, 6-0 fashion.
- Taylor and Murphy tallied 6-2, 6-2 and 6-3, 6-1 wins in third and fourth singles respectively. Coopmans followed with a strong 6-2, 6-2 showing, while
Christina Ekkela put a bow on the match with a 6-0, 6-0 performance.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Edgewood College has won 19 straight over MSOE and has not dropped a match to the visitors.
- Fuchs finished perfect in both singles and doubles.
- All five of the Eagles' NACC victories have been by 8-1 or 9-0 margins.
