Warriors blank Eagles in NACC play

WAUWATOSA, Wis. – The Edgewood College men's soccer team dropped a NACC road tilt at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Wednesday evening. The Eagles couldn't find the back of the net against the Warriors, resulting in a 4-0 final.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Wisconsin Lutheran (6-2-1, 3-1-1 NACC) struck first in the 23rd minute as Jason Cano netted his first of two goals of the evening. The Warriors would score once more before halftime, as KJ McNealey Jr. found the back of the net on a penalty kick.

- Cano gave the Warriors a commanding 3-0 lead in the 50th minute, assisted by Josh Sepic. Willie Bergersen netted the final goal of the evening in the 89th minute, assisted by Jesus Altamirano.

- Edgewood College (1-7-1, 1-3-0 NACC) finished the match with just two shots, both on goal. Jonathan Alfaro and Brandon Hough each had a shot on Wednesday. In contrast, Wisconsin Lutheran took 24 shots, 11 on goal.

- Jack Gentner stopped seven of the Warriors shots through 90 minutes in goal for the Eagles.
