VERONA, Wis. – The Edgewood College men's soccer team suffered a 6-1 setback on Saturday as they played host to Aurora University. Drew Jarsted tied things up at one a piece early in the first period, but a flurry of goals in the second half from the Spartans was too much for the Eagles defense.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After an early score from Aurora University (4-1-5, 3-0-2 NACC) in the 8th minute, Edgewood College (1-8-1, 1-4-0 NACC) responded with a goal of their own in the 17th minute. Jarstad netted his first goal of the season, unassisted in the top right corner of the goal to tie things up. This was as close as the Eagles got in the NACC contest, as the Spartans would add one more goal before halftime.
