LISLE, Ill. – The Edgewood College men's soccer team dropped a NACC road tilt at Benedictine University on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles couldn't find the back of the net in the battle of the Eagles, resulting in a 3-0 final.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Benedictine University (5-6-2, 4-3-0 NACC) struck first in the 36th minute, as Manav Soorma found the back of the net, unassisted. Benedictine took a 1-0 lead into halftime before recording their final two goals in the second half. Moses Mata notched the second goal for Benedictine, assisted by Omar Barragan. The final goal of the afternoon came in the 86th minute, from Thomas Suchecki.

- Edgewood College (1-10-1, 1-6-0 NACC) finished the match with just two shots, one on goal. Thomas Dews recording the only shot on goal, while Will Thesing added the other shot for Edgewood College.

- Jack Gentner stopped seven shots through 90 minutes in goal for Edgewood College. Benedictine had a 24-2 advantage in shots on the afternoon.
