MADISON, Wis. – The Edgweood College Women's Tennis team continue their streak of NACC regular season wins with another easy victory on Sunday. The Eagles hosted Lakeland University and made quick work of the Muskies with a 9-0 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In doubles play, the Eagles won their No. 1 and No. 2 matches by a combined score of 16-1. At No. 3 doubles Gigi Kuecker and Callie Belschner battled through a tiebreaker to win 8-7 (7-5).

- Cecile Fuchs picked up her third conference win at No. 1 singles, picking up the 6-0, 6-0 victory.

- Maggie Burgmeier earned a win at No. 6 singles and didn't drop a game in her impressive victory.

- Karina Manders earned the win at No. 4 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory, while Ally Verbauwhede (No. 2) and Alina Tweet (No. 3) only dropped two games in their wins.

- Maeryn Shepherd wrapped up the Edgewood College (4-4, 4-0 NACC) lineup with a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles.

12 different Eagles contributed to the conference victory on Sunday.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Edgewood College continue their third-longest NACC Women's Tennis regular season winning streak at 34. The Eagles are two shy of tying Concordia University Wisconsin's 36-match winning streak, snapped in October of 2018 by the Eagles.

- Alyssa Carew, Fuchs, Ellie Murphy, Shepherd, and Ally Verbauwhede all remain undefeated in both singles and doubles in NACC play.
