PLYMOUTH, Wis. – The Edgewood College Men's Soccer team was shut out 3-0 in NACC play against Lakeland University Saturday. The Eagles couldn't find the back of the net despite taking nine shots, all on goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lakeland University (2-2-1, 2-2-1 NACC) broke through in the 57th minute of action, as Alessandro Bianchi scored the first goal of the match. The Muskies would connect just two minutes later, as Kidus Samson connected on a pass from Michecadet Gethand. The final goal of the game came in the 87th minute, from Samson, his second of the contest.
- Edgewood College (0-5-1, 0-5-1 NACC) outshot the Muskies 9-8 in the contest. All nine of the Eagles shots were on goal, with five of them coming in the second half.
- Kayumba Ndiadia and Jonathan Alfaro led the Eagles with two shots each, while Aldon Lumani, Evan Oppermann, Riley Moore, and William Lemkuil each added a shot.

- Edgewood College will play the final two conference contests of the regular season on the road. The Eagles will face Wisconsin Lutheran College on Sunday, April 11. Action from Warrior Field is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
