GLENDALE, Wis. – The Edgewood College Women's Tennis team pushed its record to 6-0 this season with a dominant 9-0 win over MSOE on Saturday morning. The Eagles are now 5-0 in league matches and the 9-0 victory was their second sweep of the season.

Sydney Verbauwhede joined teammate
Alyssa Carew in the century club on Saturday as her two wins (No. 2 singles, No. 2 doubles) gave her 100 for her career. Verbauwhede won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2 singles for her 100th victory and partnered with
Ellie Murphy for an 8-1 No. 2 doubles win.
- The Eagles (6-0, 5-0 NACC) had little trouble with the Raiders (4-6, 3-3 NACC) throughout the day. Edgewood College won five singles matches in the straight sets and the other one was a victory via default.
Cecile Fuchs remained unbeaten this season with wins at No. 1 singles (6-0, 6-1) and No. 1 doubles, partnering with
Ally Verbauwhede for an 8-4 win.

Ally Verbauwhede added a 6-2, 6-1 No. 3 singles win, while
Alyssa Carew didn't drop a game in her 6-0, 6-0 No. 4 singles win. Murphy added a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles.
- The duo of Carew and
Kinsey Kessel rounded out the doubles lineup with an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles. Kessel won by default in her No. 6 singles match.

Sydney Verbauwhede is the ninth player in Eagles Women's Tennis history to reach 100 career wins. Her, Carew, and
Alicia Picard all came in the same class together and all three players reached 100 career victories. Verbauwhede has 40 career singles wins and 60 career doubles wins. The 60 doubles wins are tied for seventh most all time.
- The Eagles NACC regular season winning streak is now at 27 matches.
