Eagles earn NACC win over Warriors behind career game from Graf

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Jake Graf scored a career-best 18 points, including pulling down seven rebounds, in helping lead the Edgewood College Men's Basketball team to an 87-83 win over Wisconsin Lutheran College Friday. The Eagles had four players finish in double figures in the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles rocked the Edgedome from the very beginning, shooting 59.3 percent (16-for-27) from the floor in the first half and 83.3 percent (10-for-12) from the charity stripe. The Eagles offense managed pressure from the Warriors defense well, and capitalized on opportunities in the paint in the first half.

- As a team, Edgewood College (8-6, 5-4 NACC) shot 55.1 percent (27-for-49) from the floor on Friday.

- The Eagles led by eight at halftime and pushed their lead to 11 with 15:48 left after a Graf 3-point make. Wisconsin Lutheran College (7-2, 7-2 NACC) would get as close as three points, but the Eagles knocked down their free throws at the end to secure the win. Graf and Matthew Myers combined to go 8-for-8 over the final two minutes from the charity stripe.

- Four Eagles finished in double figures, led by Graf's career-high 18 points. Jake Schroeckenthaler made 7-of-11 from the floor to finish with 15 points, while Jake Negus added 12. Myers also scored in double figures, adding 10 points. Will Schwartz chipped in with a career-high nine points.
