MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Edgewood College Men's Basketball team made senior day memorable, completing a sweep over Wisconsin Lutheran College with an 83-74 victory and earning a spot in the NACC Tournament. The Eagles came back from a 11-point deficit at halftime, holding the Warriors to just 27 points in the second half to earn the victory. The senior class combined for 61 of the Eagles points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles pulled away in the second half thanks to a 15-for-30 shooting performance (50 percent) from the floor. The Eagles also capitalized on free throws, connecting on 12-of-17 (70.6 percent) in the second half. Senior Jake Negus, who finished with a team-best 21 points led the charge in making 17 points after the break.
- With 10:05 left in the contest the Eagles went on a 16-4 run that gave them a comfortable lead. The effort was sparked by a three-point make by Jake Graf.
- The Edgewood College (9-6, 6-4 NACC) defense was key in earning the victory, as they held Wisconsin Lutheran (7-3, 7-3 NACC) to just 26.7 percent shooting from the floor in the second half, and only allowed the Warriors to connect once from beyond the arc.
- For the game, Edgewood College saw a whopping 45 points come off the bench. Graf tied his career-high scoring with 18 points off the bench, while Ryan Buss and Jake Schroeckenthaler added nine points each.
- Senior Caleb Hill sparked Edgewood College just 37 seconds into the game by making a no-doubt 3-poiont shot from deep. Senior Caleb Holzman added four rebounds and three points.

- The seven seniors (Buss, Holzman, Matthew Myers, Negus, Hill, Graf, and Schwartz) were honored before the game.
THE OPPOSITION
- Jacob Stoltz led the Warriors with 21 points and added three steals. Zach Zuleger wasn't far behind with 18 points. Alex Van Crete added 10 points for the Warriors. Zuleger pulled down eight rebounds, while Trevor Stiede added six assists.
