DE PERE, Wis. – The Edgewood College Men's Soccer team suffered a 4-1 setback at St. Norbert College on Wednesday night.
GREEN KNIGHTS 4, EAGLES 1
- St. Norbert (7-4-1, 6-0-0 NACC) took a 1-0 advantage into halftime thanks to a score in the 28th minute from Mitchell Scholz. Joe Meade sent a long service to Scholz, who was there with a chip shot for the score that gave the host Green Knights the one-goal advantage.
- St. Norbert would extend its lead to 3-0 thanks to second-half scores from Matthew Wright (55th minute) and Jacob Hause (77th minute). Wright's score came off a corner kick from Lucas Rojas, while Jonathan Hill assisted on the Hause goal.
- The last two goals of the match came late, including an Eagles (0-9-0, 0-6-0 NACC) score by
Noah Mesdjian in the 88th minute.
Tyler Nelson sent a perfect cross towards Mesdjian who headed it in for his first goal of the season.
- St. Norbert controlled possession throughout with a 28-3 advantage in shots, including a 10-1 edge in shots on goal.
Jack Gentner made five saves for the Eagles.

- Edgewood College will return home for a NACC match against Benedictine on Saturday. The match will start at 1:30 p.m. and will follow the women's match, which begins at 11. Saturday will also be the Edgewood College Soccer Tackles Cancer event at Edgewood College Field at Reddan Park.
