ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – Mackenzie Doherty wrapped up an impressive career with an All-Tournament selection at the Augustana College Pumpkin Bash. Doherty led the Eagles with 23 kills on Saturday, but unfortunately the Eagles went 0-2 during the day. Coe College and Augustana College each posted 3-0 wins over the Eagles.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Doherty finished the day with 23 kills, posting 12 in the first match against Coe (22-7) before tallying 11 against Augustana (11-21). Doherty finishes her career with 1,282 kills, which ranks fourth all time in program history. She hit .346 in the first match and .267 against the host Vikings.
- In the opener against Coe,
Taylor Salmon dished out 17 assists for the Eagles (17-11). Edgewood College hit just .084 in the match with Coe countering with a .225 attack.

Abigail Hoffmann posted 15 assists against Augustana and Salmon added 12. Doherty finished her career with a double-double, adding 10 digs, while
Lea Bunch led the Eagles with 14.
- Edgewood College hit .108 against Augustana and the Vikings countered at .243.
- Kate Tidman led Coe in the opener with 12 kills, while Elli Teeple posted 28 of the team's 32 assists. Augustana was led by Emily Schipper's 14 kills.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Doherty joined five other players on the All-Tournament Team. Schipper (Augustana), Jessica Jacobs (Simpson), Yngride Jean Phillipe (Benedictine), Gabija Sinickaite (Dominican), and Teeple (Coe) were the other selections.
- Edgewood College ends its season with a 17-11 record. The 17 wins were the most since the 2017 season.
