MONTGOMERY, Ill. – Aurora University scored three times in the first 14:08 to take down the Edgewood College Women's Soccer team, 3-0, in a Saturday afternoon NACC match. The Eagles and Spartans also had to wait through a weather delay in the second half in the league matchup.

- Edgewood College (2-7-1, 2-3-0 NACC) couldn't slow down the Spartans in the early goings. Aidyn Hesuse of Aurora (2-5-2, 2-2-1 NACC) provided the first two goals for Aurora, the first in the fourth minute and the second in the ninth. Jessica Mirsky assisted on the opening goal, which would go down as the game-winner.
- Mikayla Spiering tacked on the third goal for Aurora, which put Edgewood College in a 3-0 deficit just 15 minutes into play.
- The Eagles finished the match with six shots, three of those on goal.
Anna Benitez paced Edgewood College with two shots.

Hailey Corcoran came in after the weather delay to play the second half for Edgewood College and she stopped both shots she faced.
Mackenzie Jones recorded four saves in the opening half. Kelsey Deck got the win for Aurora, making one save in the first half before Lindsey Cepa preserved the shutout with two second-half stops.
