JANESVILLE, Wis. – The Edgewood College Men's Tennis team continued its challenging non-conference schedule with a pair of neutral site matches Saturday. The Eagles fell against both Carthage College and UW-La Crosse by scores of 8-1, both matches held at Premier Tennis and Fitness.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Conner Dugan gained the two wins for the Eagles (0-5) on Saturday, winning at No. 6 singles in both contests. Dugan needed a tiebreak victory in each to secure the win.
- Against Carthage (3-2), Dugan won his first set, 6-4, before dropping the second set, 3-6. He picked up a 10-7 win in the tiebreak.
Tommy Ebben also went to a tiebreak against Carthage, but fell in that 10-8. The Eagles also went to a tiebreaker at No. 1 singles (
Marius Dornhagen Schradermeier and
Jackson Venske.).
- Dugan's tiebreaker extended even further against UW-La Crosse as he won 13-11 for the win. Dugan posted a 6-4 win in set one, before falling 2-6 in the second set to force the tiebreaker.
- UW-La Crosse (2-3) won the other five singles matches in straight sets, while sweeping doubles play as well.
