MIDDLETON, Wis. - Playing their fourth match in six days, the Edgewood College Men's tennis team fell to Cornell College 9-0, on Saturday afternoon, as lone senior Sabastion Seeger celebrated senior night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Rams won both doubles matches and won third via default in opening up a 3-0 lead. The closest bout came at No. 2 doubles where Jackson Venske and Tommy Ebben fell 8-6.
- Marius Dornhagen Schradermeier lost at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-4; Seeger dropped his No. 2 spot singles match, 6-1, 6-0; and the pair combined to lose at No. 1 doubles, 8-2.
- The Rams won at No. 5 and No. 6 singles via default to complete the 9-0 sweep.
