MIDDLETON, Wis. – The Edgewood College Men's Tennis team played its first home match of the 2018-19 season, falling 9-0 against UW-Eau Claire Friday night at Hitters Sportsplex.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blugolds won both doubles matches, and won the third via default in opening up with a 3-0 lead. The closest bout came at No. 1 doubles where
Marius Dornhagen Schradermeier and
Sabastion Seeger fell 8-3.
- In singles play, the Blugolds picked up four wins via straight sets and the other two via default to complete the 9-0 sweep.
UP NEXT
- The Eagles will be off until they visit warmer weather March 18. That is when Edgewood College will begin a 3-match spring trip in South Carolina, the first of those Monday, March 18 against Stevenson University.
