MEQUON, Wis. – The Edgewood College Men's Soccer team suffered its third-straight NACC setback, falling 1-0 at Concordia University Wisconsin Wednesday afternoon. The Eagles and Falcons were scoreless in the first half before CUW netted the game-winner in the 55th minute.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Brendon Martin played strong in net for the Eagles (5-7-1, 2-3-0 NACC), making eight saves to keep the team in the match throughout. His counterpart, Nate Yeager, stopped seven shots.
- The match was very evenly played with CUW holding a 16-11 edge in shots, including a 9-7 advantage in shots on goal.
- The lone goal of the match came in the 55th minute from Jackson Dryden with Gilberto Gomez assisting on the play.
- Lorenzo Amador fired two shots on goal for the Eagles, while Riley Moore added two total shots.
