MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Edgewood College Men's Soccer team was unable to find the back of the net on Wednesday night, as MSOE came away with the 1-0 win. Despite matching MSOE in offensive and defensive strength through the first half, the Eagles could not match the Raiders 11 shots in the second half.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood College (5-5-1, 2-1 NACC) went back and forth with MSOE in the first half of competition, as both teams registered just four shots.
- Lucas D'Amato scored the only goal of the contest in favor of the Raiders. D'Amato found the back of the net in the 58th minute, assisted by Joe Schauer.
- The Eagles registered seven shots in the contest, in comparison to 15 from the Raiders. Jorge Castellanos led the Eagles offense with three shots, while Sean Surtees wasn't far behind with two shots of his own.
- Goalkeeper Brendon Martin recorded six saves and helped keep the Eagles in the contest till the very end. Ron Marchionna registered four saves for the Raiders.

- Edgewood College will look to bounce back on Saturday against Aurora University. The Eagles will kickoff the first part of men's/women's doubleheader action at 11:00 a.m. at Breese Stevens Field.
