MADISON, Wis. – Senior Brian Davenport took care of business with a three-set victory at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 3-6, 10-6, to set the all-time Edgewood College men's tennis career singles wins school record in a 7-2 team loss against Augustana on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Davenport gave up a 1-set lead at No. 1 singles, but bounced back to claim his 49th career singles victory
-After snapping his two-match singles losing streak, Davenport's victory against Augustana broke the tie with Patrick Lagman '15 for the all-time career mark
-The Eagles faced an 0-3 deficit after dropping three competitive doubles matches, including a hard fough 9-7 defeat at the No. 2 slot by Jaime Benavides and Andrew Martinez
-Evan Stone joined Davenport as the Eagles only winners after a straight-set singles victory, 6-2, 6-3 as the No. 2 spot over Jack Morkin
-Playing in his third, three-set singles match in his last four competitions, Andrew Martinez gave up a
one-set lead in the 4-6, 6-2, 10-5 defeat at No. 4 singles.
