HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - The Edgewood College men's tennis team was blanked 9-0 by Allegheny College in their Monday morning match at the PTR Spring Tennis Fest. Edgewood College slipped to 1-2 on their spring trip and 3-8 overall.

Michael Wanta and Evan Stone played the Eagles closest match in doubles, falling 8-5 to the Gators' Alexander Hurtuk and Sam Stephenson at the No. 2 position. In singles play, Patrick Lagman won the first set at No. 2 singles, but came up just short in a 10-point match tiebreaker. Lagman lost to Thomas Manning 3-6, 6-3, 10-6.

Edgewood College's next match will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. eastern time against Greenville College.
